Hullo Cardinal .thought i would say greetings. I also was interested in the article regarding the Russian orthodox church hierarchs -schismatic and nationalist. I was disgusted at the comments that Stalin was right to persecute Ukrainian Catholics.
It seems to me that great deal of Orthodox literature and articles i find on the web, moan about the past, blame Catholics, and particularly Eastern catholics for problems past and present. They should be concentrating upon confronting the current culture- a job the Catholic church is doing well. But it seems that the Orthodox Church in a great many places wants to be aligned with the the dominant group in politics, builds it self up as being part of a national character, rather than being God's witness to the Whole world
